The School of Health at Leeds Beckett University is seeking to appoint a new External Examiner for our BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy course. Applicants must have experience of delivering pre-registration Physiotherapy programmes and be registered with the HCPC.
The appointment commences on 1 November 2022 and tenure is for four years. Appointments are subject to the candidate meeting the University’s criteria for appointment. Previous experience of external examining is not necessary as the University is able to provide mentorship to the successful applicant and an online induction. External Examiners attend Board of Examiners meetings at least once a year, submit an annual report and review coursework. The current fee is £400 per annum.
Unfortunately, due to potential reciprocity issues, we are unable to appoint from the following institutions: Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Hull, Queen Margaret University or Teesside University.
