We are seeking an experienced graduate children’s nurse to join a proactive and motivated team, teaching within a Department which delivers nursing, midwifery and other health related programmes. You would be joining us at an exciting time of team and programme expansion and growing student numbers.

You will be expected to contribute to the teaching, supervision and development of clinical skills within the child nursing programmes and modules. Being involved in the delivery and development of simulation-based skills and education delivery. Your role will also provide support to students, practice supervisors and practice assessors within clinical practice areas.

Demonstrating commitment to facilitating student centred learning and innovative approaches to child nursing, you should have knowledge of a broad range of contemporary child nursing practice, relating to the care of children and families in all healthcare settings. You will also engage in the enhancement of the student experience through use and development, of innovative and effective teaching and facilitation methods.

A Mentorship/Practice Assessor qualification together with current registration with the NMC are essential requirements of the role.
