About you

Exciting work you will do

You will need to be a creative thinker in exploring opportunities for practice learning for adult nursing students that will provide students with a range of experiences and opportunities to meet the NMC (2018) Future Nurse: Standards of proficiency for Registered Nurses. You will work collaboratively with the Academic and Placement Administration Teams as well as the Institute and School Leads for Practice Learning.

The skills and experience you will need to be successful

Registered Nurse with the NMC as an Adult Nurse and hold an Honours Degree (or equivalent) or higher in a relevant area.
A Postgraduate Qualification and a Teaching Qualification are essential.
Student-focused approach
Demonstrable experience in facilitating adult nursing students learning in a practice and/or university setting.

Details about the role

1-year Fixed Term or Secondment 0.5 WTE, Monday to Friday (working 17.5 hours per week).

Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on-site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus is arranged with the line manager.
