The Role
As a Lecturer (Teaching) in Nursing Associates, you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs ensuring students have an effective learning experience.
Based within the School of Health and Care you will work closely with academic colleagues to enrich the student learning and teaching experience to ensure relevant aspects of research, enterprise and professional context are embedded in modules and courses.
Duties include:
- Teach on modules and courses at HE levels 4-7
- Assess and provide feedback on students’ academic work
- Act as an Academic Assessor for Nursing Associates
- Provide pastoral care and academic support to students
- Support students’ learning in practice settings
Our Successful Candidate
- We are looking for a Lecturer (Teaching) in Nursing Associates who demonstrates:
- A strong background and expertise in nursing, with the ability to teach at levels 4-7 in higher education.
- A passion for sharing knowledge and supporting students in their learning journey, both in clinical practice and in the classroom.
- An active and innovative approach to teaching, learning and student engagement, with evidence of successful outcomes and student satisfaction.
- A current active NMC registration is essential.
- Teaching experience advantageous, but not essential.
