AECC University College is looking to appoint a full time equivalent Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Podiatry for our exciting new pre-registration degree. About the role
Reporting to the Associate Professor, the successful candidate/s will contribute to the delivery of clinical education to podiatric and other health profession students within the institution. Duties will include unit and/or course leadership, high quality teaching, formative and summative assessment and constructive feedback to help student’s in their development. The post holder may also contribute to patient care and student supervision in our onsite podiatry suite and will be supported to undertake research in line with the institution’s new research strategy.

Utilising dedicated clinical teaching spaces, onsite clinical facilities and cutting-edge technology we aim to deliver courses which provide work ready graduates who excel in their chosen field.

About the person
We seek enthusiastic and highly motivated podiatrists to join our team who are HCPC and RCoP registered, or eligible to do so, with knowledge of the UK higher education sector. The successful candidate/s will have relevant experience aligned to the post they are applying for as set in the job description, an ability to foster student learning and development, excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and a clear vision for the development of podiatric education within the University College.

The successful candidates must maintain their own development as a registered podiatrist and educator and are expected to contribute to the enhancement of pre-registration, post-registration and CPD courses within the School’s portfolio.
