This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant team of academics dedicated to the learning and development of students on our Nursing programmes.

In this role you will provide specific support for students who are returning to study and those who are on a repeat stage study. Working with them to identify and support additional needs that may have contributed to the repeat / intermission and support their learning and integration into the new cohort.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with HEI staff, placement providers, students and university support staff to provide a package of support that will enhance the returning journey of the student.

– This role is designated to the specific support for students who are returning to study following intermission and those who are on a repeat stage study.

– Working with the students to identify and support additional needs that may have contributed to the repeat / intermission

– Supporting the students on a one to one and small group basis, to assist in their learning and integration into the new cohort.

– The role will be dedicated to student support and it is unlikely that you will need to undertake any lecturing, however you will need to identify and assist students with their returning studies and support them to plan and manage their workload.

This is a one-year project funded by Health Education England you will be part of a wider team focusing on student support.

The appointment is for a fixed term of 12 months 0.4 WTE, funded by Health Education England as part of the Nursing expansion project.
