The School of Health Sciences is dedicated to the education and development of health professionals and the performance of high-quality research. It is located in one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world. The School offers students excellent academic tuition at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We offer pre-registration degrees in: Nursing, Midwifery, Radiography, Optometry, and Speech and Language therapy, while our suite of master’s programmes includes advanced courses in Nursing; Midwifery; Radiography; Optometry; Speech, Language and Communication; Health Management, Policy and research; and Food Policy.

Responsibilities

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding academic in Adult Nursing, who has academic and teaching experience in this field and can lead on, and develop, our teaching provision across our pre-registration and post registration nursing programmes. As a Senior Lecturer, the post holder will have module leadership of various modules across our pre-registration and post-registration nursing programmes.

Person Specification

We are seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate with an extensive knowledge in the area of contemporary nursing practice to join a friendly and dynamic team. The successful candidate will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and provide high-quality education to our undergraduate and postgraduate students; demonstrating an ability to be innovative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the workforce.
