We are looking to recruit a Lecturer in Nursing with the expansion of our school in our partner Satellite colleges and Practice Partners. This role will be based at Petroc College, Barnstaple (North Devon) and there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will travel to the University of Bolton to attend meetings and other events in order to meet the core business needs.
The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of undergraduate and taught postgraduate nursing programmes, including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the Nursing programme
NMC registration is an essential requirement for these roles along with a first degree and preferably a teaching qualification. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Nursing. A commitment to undertaking a PhD and membership of the Higher Education Academy is an essential requirement.
Successful candidates should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Nursing Education as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the Nursing sector.
