The School of Health and Social Care is looking for an enthusiastic academic to join the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programme lecturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced academic or a current registered paramedic who is keen to develop their career in higher education. This post will be focused on supporting and running skills-based modules on the programme. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a drive and passion to develop paramedic practice and education as well as an eagerness to engage students with simulation.

This post offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School of Health and Social Care forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond in collaboration with strategic healthcare partners.

As an academic you will be expected to hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or complete the University of Gloucestershire’s Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice once in role.

This post requires an enhanced DBS check and for applicants to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

We are open to discussing opportunities on a 0.8FTE and 1FTE basis. Fractional roles and job share will also be considered.

Under the University’s Agile Working Policy, a mix of working from home (if desirable) and on-campus working, across University sites for particular events and meetings.
