We are looking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Nurse to join the well-established team of nursing lecturers in the beautiful South West of England. You will contribute to teaching excellence related to nursing care and contribute to the academic and clinical development of Adult Nursing at the University. This will include the development and delivery of foundation degree, undergraduate and postgraduate healthcare programmes. You will also be encouraged to contribute to research within the School and join an appropriate research group.
We offer foundation degree, undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD programmes. Research in the School was rated highly in the REF2014 and continues to grow. The University of Plymouth Clinical Schools initiative is an exciting development, through which applied nursing and midwifery research focuses on topics that are timely and relevant to advancing the quality of care.
You should possess appropriate professional qualifications, registration as a Nurse with the NMC is essential, relevant post registration experience as a nurse, a Degree in health or a related subject, relevant postgraduate qualifications and a teaching qualification (or be willing to work to achieve this).

This is a part-time position working 29.6 hours per week on a permanent basis and you will be based at the University of Plymouth sites in Plymouth.
