We are looking to appoint External Examiner’s to support NMC Specialist Practice Programmes within our Post Graduate Taught programme/CPD Framework at the University of Surrey. These posts will commence in line with the start of our new curriculum approved against the new NMC standards.

Public Health Practice SCPHN (Health Visiting) Post Graduate Diploma (Professional qualification required Health Visiting). Director of Studies: Felicity Jones (felicity.jones@surrey.ac.uk)

Successfully EE would support and review work for the following programme modules (applied by speciality):

  • NURM196Developing autonomous practice in SCPHN (Health Visiting)
  • HCRM043 Advanced Assessment & Communication in Public Health Nursing Practice
  • NURM198/NUR3353 Early Interventions Promoting Mental Health and Maximinsing Outcomes for Children and Families
  • HCRM052/HCR3033 Safeguarding in Healthcare
  • NURM202 Leading Service Development in Public Health Nursing
  • Additional Field of Practice (Health Visiting)

  • NURM2000 Essentials of Specialist Practice and Health Assessment
  • HCRM044 (HCR3028) Advancing practice in long term conditions.
  • HCRM048 (HCR3030) Introduction to public health

Primary and Community Care (Community Children’s Nursing) Post Graduate Diploma (Professional Qualification required). Director of Studies: Felicity Jones (felicity.jones@surrey.ac.uk)

EE would support and review work for the following programme modules

  • NURM2000 Essentials of Specialist Practice and Health Assessment
  • HCRM044 (HCR3028) Advancing practice in long term conditions.
  • NURM199 (NUR3353) Effective leadership in professional practice
