The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is seeking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic NMC or HCPC registered health professional to work as an Assistant Lecturer within an established clinical skills and simulation team, delivering education to undergraduate health care professionals. The post is available on a full time, permanent basis.
Previous experience of teaching or assessing in practice or HEI based educational programmes, would be advantageous. We are also looking for candidates who have experience of teaching and assessing manual handling and CPR with a recognised qualification and expertise in mental health and/or learning disabilities.
The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual. Job descriptions will be available upon request from the Human Resources Department when applying for the post.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for applicants who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification.
