Regional deans group

The regional deans group provides a forum for representatives from England’s regions to discuss operational and policy matters pertaining to England, to share local experiences and provide advice to the Council, particularly on matters relating to workforce policy and planning. Group members are nominated by regional deans’ groups where these exist or may be invited by the Council to attend in the absence of an established regional group.

Membership is one or two individuals per region, depending on the size and history of the region. Members should be named members of the Council. Regions may rotate or change their representatives from meeting to meeting. Council staff are happy to attend regional members’ meetings.
