An enthusiastic individual is sought to join the Institute of Health and Society to play a key role in the delivery of the Foundation Degree in Paramedic Science and the new BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science. The 2/3 year full time programme and 32 week conversion course will provide the student with a qualification enabling them to apply for registration as a paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Responsibilities within this post will include liaison with sponsoring organisations to arrange placements, oversight of practice placements and student recruitment and selection. In addition, the post holder will be expected to play an active role in learning and teaching developments within the paramedic science provision and within the wider Institute, which may include involvement in the delivery of CPD activity across a range of programmes.
