At one of the UK’s largest and leading Schools of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work & Social Sciences we are offering three talented and enthusiastic individuals the opportunity to undertake a three year development programme which will take you to the next level of your career.

Ideally you will have a minimum of two years post qualifying experience, have undertaken a mentorship course and be willing to enrol on a Master’s programme or post graduate certificate in teaching.

Over the three years you will be mentored, supported and challenged by one of the Associate Deans to learn new ways of teaching; be exposed to all the dimensions needed to become a lecturer in healthcare and develop your educational and research profile.

There are three posts available one for a qualified Adult nurse, one for a mental health nurse and one other from any branch of nursing practice.

This is a 3 year fixed term development role to encourage new academics into the University, during the three years they will be mentored by the Associate Head Academic Enhancement to develop their talents and take up future lecturer posts.
