An External Examiner is required for courses in Years 1, 2 and 3 of the BN (Hons) Degree programme at the Nursing & Health Care School, University of Glasgow. The Nursing & Health Care School is part of the School of Medicine, within the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS). We offer both an Honours (4 years) and Ordinary Degree (3 years), leading to Registration in Nursing. The ideal candidate would have undergraduate nursing programme experience and a strong science background. The appointment will be for 4 years, from October 2017, to cover the following courses:
• Nursing and Integrated Biomedical & Life Science 1
• Integrated Biomedical and Life Science 2
• Human Disease and Pathology 3
and the commitment required is a follows:
• To engage in communication with the UG programme team
• To review of a range of coursework throughout the year
• Attendance at the June Examination Board/s including morning meetings with students and staff and the submission of the External Examiner report.
