This post offers an exciting opportunity to make a leading contribution towards meeting the Nursing & Health Care School strategic objectives in relation to national/international excellence in research. You will also be required to play a significant role in the delivery of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the quality of student experience and to our internationalisation agenda.
You should have registration with the NMC (adult branch) and have a good first degree or relevant Master’s degree, with a PhD or nearing completion.
You will work closely with the newly appointed Florence Nightingale Foundation Professor in Nursing, Clinical Practice Research, to achieve the School’s research objectives. Our research theme is ‘Improving Health, Wellbeing and Care’, with two subthemes, ‘Rehabilitation’ and ‘Enhancing Care and Support’.
We would welcome applications from those with a clinical background in palliative/end of life care or long term conditions.
