The University of Salford is seeking to appoint an outstanding and talented individual with a nursing qualification in Adult Nursing. They will join a team of academics providing nursing education within the School of Health and Society. The successful applicant will play a key role in the continued development and delivery of the pre-registration undergraduate nursing programme but will also have the opportunity to contribute across the spectrum of academic work in the School.

The School of Health & Society provides a range of dynamic and innovative programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level to over 4,500 students. The School offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes leading to professional registration as a Nurse in Adult, Mental Health or the Children and Young People field of practice. The School has a strong and rapidly growing research record and has supportive mechanisms in place to enable staff to become and remain research active.

To be considered for this post you must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. It would be a positive if you have previous have experience in teaching, practice development and/or research and have, or be prepared to study for a higher. You would demonstrate a commitment to the provision of high-quality education that makes a difference to client care.
