We are seeking to appoint an external examiner to join the existing team within the Department of Health Sciences. This appointment will cover the above programme, and will include the following modules:

HHF1031 Supporting Learning in Practice – 30 credits
HHH 1246 Supporting Learning in Practice (Distance Learning) – 30 credits

These modules may be taken as a short course or as part of the:

  • BSc (Hons) Professional Studies
  • BSc (Hons) Perioperative Studies or
  • BSc (Hons) Nursing Studies (Top up)

HMH1052 Supporting Learning in Practice – 30 credits
HMH2012 Supporting Learning in Practice (Distance Learning) – 30 credits

These modules may be taken as a short course or as part of the:

  • MSc Health Studies or
  • MSc Health and Social Care

The post seeks to find a candidate whose areas of expertise would enable him/her to moderate and monitor the assessment processes for the above modules. To enable this we ask external examiners to view coursework prior to examination boards, which are usually held in February, April, June and July.

Attendance at examination boards is required at least once a year.

We require an external examiner to start at the beginning of the academic year, September 2015, for a period of four years.
