We are seeking to appoint an external examiner to join the team who provide a range of health related short courses as part of our Specialist Skills and Post Registration Development Portfolio. Our range of courses are based on workforce development and allows health care professionals to advance their knowledge and skills within their specialist area of practice.
We seek a candidate whose areas of expertise would enable him/her to moderate across several short courses which will include the following:
- MSc Health Studies
- PG Cert Emergency Care
- Electrocardiograph Monitoring and Interpretation
- Critical Care
- Personal and Practice Development
- Case Management of Individuals with Long term Conditions
- End of Life Care
- Assessment, Care and Management of Acute/Critical Illness or Iinjury
- Simulation
We require an external examiner to start the academic year 2020 for a period up to four years. We ask external examiners to view coursework prior to examination boards, which are held throughout the year. Attendance is required at least once a year.
