The School of Health Sciences and Social Work at the University of Portsmouth has a history of teaching and researching in clinical subjects and is expanding academic development in established and emerging fields and roles. As a School we are committed to providing the students on our courses with a sound knowledge and evidence base that will prepare them to be safe and effective practitioners. We have a commitment to innovative learning methodologies, supported by sector leading simulation resources.

Applications are invited for the role of Senior Teaching Fellow and Course Leader for our new MSc in Physician Associate Studies. The successful applicant will have current valid certification from a relevant body (FPA/NCCPA) and the ability to contribute to the University’s strategy (2020). On appointment, the post holder will be encouraged to participate in activities across the Faculty of Science and with external partners in Health, Social Care and Higher Education organisations.
