The University of the West of England is seeking a senior researcher with project management experience to join a programme of injury prevention research and capacity building in Nepal. This programme of work is funded by the NIHR Global Health Research Programme and the Global Challenges Research Fund.

The role of the Senior Research Fellow is to manage the running, monitoring and reporting of studies within the programme. The post holder will have experience of successfully delivering both quantitative and qualitative research projects and an ability to demonstrate high standards of research governance. They will work with a team of researchers both in the UK and in Nepal. The post holder will have the opportunity to travel to Nepal.

The successful candidate will be based at the Centre for Academic Child Health, a joint research centre between UWE and the University of Bristol, located on Whiteladies Road. Although based in a research centre focussed on child and adolescent health, the studies on which the postholder will work involve participants across the lifecourse.

This position is advertised for 0.7FTE. The days of the week worked, and the hours worked each day will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
