We are making a significant new investment in adult nursing and are looking for experienced and dynamic Senior Lecturers and Lecturers in Adult Nursing. A number of new roles at each grade are available to join an established team in the Department of Health Sciences at York.

Applications for Senior Lecturer Positions must be:
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council in Adult Nursing
• Qualified to at least Masters level
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a teacher
• An experienced lecturer with substantial experience of module leadership and programme governance.
• Willing to undertake a lead academic role consistent with senior lectureship which may include the supportive management of a small group or team

• Hold a higher Degree (PhD preferred but not essential)
• Have relevant clinical experience including being a qualified mentor with experience of supporting student nurses in clinical practice

Applicants for lectureships must be:
• registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Adult Nursing
• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a teacher
• have a relevant academic qualification at degree level;
• have relevant clinical experience including being a qualified mentor with experience of supporting student nurses in clinical practice.
