Joining the Community Health Academic Programme in the School of Health Sciences you will have up to date knowledge of contemporary public health policy and practice, contribute to the teaching in our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes and our new BSc (Hons) Public Health.
We are committed to creating an interprofessional and multidisciplinary approach across the school and have a philosophy of engaging in partnership work. You will have a Masters/PhD in Public Health, Health Promotion or Health related subject, or be committed to studying at a higher level. You will have Current NMC registration as a Nurse and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and a recordable qualification as a Lecturer/Practice Educator. If you have a PhD or Doctorate and can supervise at this level, you will have opportunities to develop as the university has an active programme for supporting early career researchers and an increasigly strong reserach profile.
