An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Paramedic Science lecturers registered with the HCPC, to join our dedicated and friendly team of Paramedic lecturers in the Department of Allied Health Professions and Midwifery within the School of Health and Social Work. You will be an experienced Paramedic committed to enhancing the profile of Paramedic education with some experience in supporting and/or teaching students. The ideal candidates must have a special interest in teaching: patient examination, assessment and management; Paramedic Skills; pharmacology and/or biosciences; and developing the use of simulation within the Paramedic department. Experience of advanced / extended scope practice is desirable although not essential. You will be expected to participate primarily in teaching and assessment on the undergraduate three year BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science and Paramedic Masters programmes. You will also have opportunities to be involved in research.
