An exciting opportunity has arisen within in the School of Advanced and Continuing Practice to work within an established team of lecturers to develop and deliver a new suite of paramedic and emergency/urgent care modules to respond to the changing landscape of this specialist field of practice. We are looking for a dynamic and innovative educator, and/or an experience practitioner, to inspire our undergraduate and postgraduate students, with a commitment to maintaining their own clinical practice.
This post offers the opportunity for a paramedic practitioner or academic to join a dynamic, highly creative and innovative team to support the delivery of our undergraduate programmes and the associated affiliate modules within the School’s evolving CPPD framework. Applicants must hold current registration with either the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC). Additionally membership of the College of Paramedics (CoP) is desirable. You will need a good honours degree (2:1 or higher) in paramedic science or emergency/urgent care nursing and experience of teaching. The post will require delivery of paramedic, emergency and urgent care subjects at academic levels 6 and 7 and therefore evidence of a level 7 (MSc/PGDip/PGC) qualification or study is essential.
