The Department of Nursing have an exciting opportunity for a practitioner with current registration as a Nurse. You will be expected to work within the Department of Nursing developing and delivering across a range of programmes and units providing their specialist input and supporting the development of skills within the undergraduate programmes. The Faculty promotes interprofessional learning and so you will be expected to contribute to relevant programmes across the Faculty. There will be an expectation that you will develop a range of innovative and flexible resources to support the delivery of programmes and you will be adaptable and knowledgeable in relation to educational strategies and student support. Research and knowledge exchange is integral to the teaching role and you will be expected to contribute to raising the profile of the Department both internally and externally.

You will be a practitioner with current NMC registration who is committed to maintaining this throughout their post. You will have an understanding of undergraduate nursing programmes and experience of supporting and teaching students. Ideally, you will have a teaching qualification and a PhD with experience of publishing or developing research/ project bids.
