The Department of Nursing is recruiting a Senior Lecturer, on a full or part time (minimum 0.6 FTE) basis to focus on post-registration programmes, especially prescribing, community health/nursing, and CPD. We welcome applications from registered healthcare practitioners with experience in non-medical prescribing (V300), primary/community care, and diagnostic/clinical examination skills. You will be required to work across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to contribute to the Department achievement of its KPIs and the University strategic plan.

The Department of Nursing offer a range of education programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. These include programmes leading to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in adult nursing and mental health nursing, prescribing (V100/V150/V300), SCPHN, community specialist practitioner and return to practice. Our research and knowledge exchange activities focus on healthcare practice, education and policy and underpins our departmental core values of evidence based practice.
