An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer at the University of the West of Scotland within the School of Health and Life Sciences, Division of Mental Health Nursing & Integrated Practice.

As Senior Lecturer, you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the leadership and development of the academic, research and enterprise activities within the Division of Mental Health Nursing & Integrated Practice. You will be required to have knowledge of strategic and operational management and use this insight for your programme development. Programmes in the Division need to remain flexible and responsive to the direction recommended by both key national drivers and our profession

In this Senior Lecturer role, you will have shared leadership of a cognate programme group within the Division. You will be responsible for developing contemporary academic programmes and strengthening inter-disciplinary learning across nursing, health and social care education and practice. You will contribute to the delivery of teaching, and the development of continuous professional development and research-related activities.

As a Senior Lecturer, you will have a line management role and a key role in supporting the Head of Division and other senior lecturers to promote and enhance the full range of activities (i.e. academic, research and enterprise) of the Division of Mental Health Nursing & Integrated Practice. You will be based at either Paisley or Lanarkshire Campus with scheduled activities at our other campus locations and will share various responsibilities with other Senior Lecturers from across the School.
