We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Non-Medical Prescribing (NMP) to contribute to the work of the Health and Social Care Qualifications in the School.

The successful candidate will possess a current background in non-medical prescribing education and if applying for the role as Senior Lecturer will additionally offer expertise in research and scholarship as evidenced by ongoing professional development and measurable outputs.

As well as contributing to the development and delivery of new and existing curriculum, the role holder will be required to write materials as necessary to maintain other modules within the School’s awards. The School supports staff to undertake research in their discipline area which will contribute to the curriculum and help to maintain the leading-edge reputation of teaching within the School of Health, Wellbeing and Social Care (HWSC).

Applicants must be registrants of an appropriate professional regulator and possess a post graduate teaching qualification. The successful candidate will have a Masters degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the post and if applying for the Senior Lecturer a PhD or equivalent professional experience.

Part time hours and job share opportunity may be considered for this role. Minimum of 0.5FTE as a job share.
