The Role
You will be joining a team with a well established reputation for high quality cutting edge education. As part of the role you will work in collaboration with London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS), South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECamb). You will benefit from the Department of paramedics expertise in undergraduate and postgraduate degree education, and will be expected to take an active and developing role. Your main role will be working in the Paramedic clinical simulation centre. You will be undertaking skills, simulation scenarios and assessment of students over various pathways. You will also be involved on a variety of modules, assessments, marking and areas of student support. The role expects high quality, free thinking and innovation in clinical education and development. The roles are available as part or full time depending on the applicant, and days can be flexible to suit both parties. You will be expected and supported to obtain a PGCHE or equivalent.

The Person
Senior Lecturer £42,331 – £50,061 An experienced and motivated paramedic for at least four years on the HCPC register, you will bring high clinical standards together with an understanding of higher education in the paramedic profession. A proven track record of learning, teaching and assessment in higher education or trust education and mentorship would be desirable, though development opportunities will be provided.

Lecturer £37,889 – £41,172 An experienced and motivated paramedic for at least 2 years on the HCPC register. Your will be expected to have a background of robust clinical practice with high standards and a patient focus within the prehospital arena and working experiences within the ambulance service.
