We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy with experience of neurological physiotherapy to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research within the Institute of Health. You will teach across a range of modules on the pre-registration physiotherapy programme and also on relevant post-registration CPD courses. The role will include supporting the development of placement capacity, and the maintenance of high academic standards and enhancement of the student experience. You will need to be committed to the development of the faculty’s portfolio of courses, linking with relevant external partners, and the generation of external income for the University.

You will be educated to a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent and preferably have completed, be working towards, or be willing to work towards a Post Graduate qualification. It is a requirement that the post-holder either holds, or is willing to undertake a Post-graduate Certificate in Education. You will be currently registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist and have significant clinical experience in neurological physiotherapy. Experience of teaching in an academic or clinical setting is desirable and candidates with a research profile are welcomed. Dedication to innovative teaching and research activities within paramedic practice are also a requirement of the post, in order to contribute towards the paramedic portfolio and the profile of the faculty.
