We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Lecturer to work with Academic Course Leader Physiotherapy, and NHS partners to support the curriculum development and delivery of BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme.

This post also offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the School forward with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire in collaboration with our strategic partners. You will have substantial clinical experience, experience of supporting pre-registration students, curriculum development and experience of teaching and assessing within Higher Education is essential.

You must be a UK registered Physiotherapist with the HCPC and be able to demonstrate evidence of your professional development and experience in pre-hospital practice. You must hold a first degree in a relevant area, and ideally hold or currently be completing a higher degree. Musculoskeletal or cardiorespiratory physiotherapy experience would be an advantage.

As an academic you will be expected to have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or complete the University of Gloucestershire’s Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice in the first year of your appointment.
