Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
Are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the Paramedic Emergency Care team in Oxford to participate in the delivery and development of this programme, which sits within the Department of Clinical Health Care.
You will be responsible for:
leading, developing, planning, teaching, assessing and evaluating the programmes with a particular focus on practice modules
supervising and supporting students within specified practice areas
professional tutoring for an agreed number of students
contributing to the development of the Paramedic Emergency Care programme
contributing actively to the life and development of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
You should have:
HCPC paramedic registration
a first degree and an MSc in a health related subject
a teaching qualification or willingness to undertake one
substantial clinical/professional background in relevant paramedic emergency care
evidence of advanced resuscitation skills
good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work, schedule different elements and deal with urgent requests
evidence of commitment to interprofessional education
the ability to travel using own transport and hold a current driving license.
