The Department of Paramedics, situated within St George’s University medical school, is seeking clinical educators with experience of out-of-hospital care including paramedics, advanced or specialised paramedics and/or clinicians with urgent or critical care roles. You will be joining a dynamic, forward-thinking team with a well established reputation for high quality, avant-garde education.

We are seeking experienced, motivated and registered clinician with substantial experience in paramedic practice, or relevant advanced or specialised roles to bring high clinical standards, together with an understanding of higher education in the paramedic profession. Successful applicants will be expected to undertake an active and developing role, depending on relevant background and experience. We are especially interested in clinicians with a proven track record of learning, teaching and assessment in higher education or Trust education and mentorship, although development opportunities can be provided.

You will, ideally, possess an educational prerequisite such as a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education or equivalent qualification in teaching and learning. Some experience of research and scholarship in the field of paramedic practice or education will be advantageous in this role.

Please note there are 3 full-time permanent roles available with a starting salary of £43,955 per annum plus St George’s supplement of £718 per annum.
