An opportunity has arisen for a GOC registered and practising Optometrist, with a PhD in a relevant discipline, to focus on leading our team and contributing to teaching, research, knowledge exchange, enterprise and business engagement within the Department of Allied Health Professions.
The successful candidate will be experienced in teaching at HE level and will have knowledge of teaching and assessing students in practice, in addition to experience of dispensing and ophthalmology. The ability to provide course leadership and lead and contribute to curriculum design, plus a commitment to undertaking research, development and/or scholarship are also vital for this role.
