An exciting opportunity has arisen for the new post of Senior Lecturer Occupational
Health within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
This role has been identified as essential under the strategic direction of the Head
of Professional Development and Commercialisation.
The post holder will provide overall subject leadership relating to occupational
health and offers a unique opportunity to combine contemporary occupational
health practice with teaching and research.

Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG Scheme)
This post is subject to the individual being required to join the PVG scheme. People
who work, on a regular basis, with vulnerable groups will join the PVG scheme
and, from then on, their membership records will be automatically updated if any
new vetting information arises. Vetting information is conviction information
retrieved from criminal justice systems and non-conviction information held by the
police that is considered relevant.
The PVG Scheme will be managed and delivered by Disclosure Scotland.
