We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Lecturer in Nursing to join an established team in the Department of Health Sciences at York. The main focus of the role will be to provide leadership in the delivery of our dissertation modules, for our BSc Nursing, PG Dip (Nursing) and M Nursing programmes, which are focused on NHS service improvement, management and leadership. The successful applicant may also support and contribute to our continuing professional development provision at undergraduate and/or post-graduate levels. We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants with experience of teaching in HEI’s around NHS service improvement methodology, management and leadership. Previous experience of working in a HEI as a nurse educator is essential, although consideration will be given to applicants with experience of combining clinical and academic roles.

This is a full time 37 hpw post. The salary will be within the range £47,328 – £54,840.30 within Grade 8 of the University’s salary scales.
