We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and talented individual to join the Faculty of Health Sciences and Sport to help us continue to build on our success and deliver the University’s strategic plan. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with expertise in acute adult nursing.

As a Senior Lecturer with extensive expertise in the field of nursing you will provide academic leadership to those working within the undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programmes. Applicants should have experience of working within a Higher Education environment, in-depth understanding of NMC requirements for undergraduate nursing students and a breadth of teaching, curriculum development and scholarly expertise. Applicants are expected to lead and develop internal and external networks within their scope of expertise, engage in pedagogic and practitioner research, and contribute to innovative teaching and learning strategies that enhance the nursing students’ experience.

The post holder will be responsible for the full range of duties associated with the delivery of nursing undergraduate education and will play a key role in curriculum development of our new undergraduate programme. They will also contribute to our post-graduate education in Health Sciences, specifically in relation to adult nursing.
