We are looking for a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health. This educational post has two major aspects:
1. To utilise small group teaching skills to develop future and current mental health practitioners
2. Engage with service managers to influence the mental health agenda for the Isle of Man (IOM)

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and influential academic to make a significant contribution to mental health nursing and wellbeing in the Isle of Man. You will work with a range of professionals, service users and senior leaders to influence the strategic direction of mental health nursing.

We are a vibrant, friendly Higher Education Team within a department providing organisational development training across government. Innovation is encouraged along with support for professionally related scholarly activities such as publications and further studies. You must have a relevant Master’s degree, current mental health NMC registration and a teaching qualification recordable with the NMC. You will have recent teaching and programme management experience in Higher Education and excellent knowledge and understanding of therapeutic approaches in mental health nursing. The post will be a permanent, full time contract and a police check will be required for the post.
