Senior Lecturer in Health Promotion & Public Health
Full Time 1.0 FTE
The Health Promotion & Public Health team conduct research & scholarship which is often collaborative; working with university, local, national & European partners e.g. built environment; cardiac prevention & rehabilitation; child obesity & healthy eating; community needs assessment; evaluation of sexual health education; the needs of teachers who work with children with life limiting or life threatening conditions & older peoples’ smoking & alcohol use.
You would join a proactive, dynamic team providing teaching & related scholarly activities across various academic programmes. The successful applicant will actively deliver & develop the educational opportunities which support the delivery of effective health promotion & public health across the changing public health landscape.
Essential: a relevant higher degree, excellent teaching skills & experience of lecturing in the health promotion/public health field as well as experience of working in HE & developing/leading programmes/modules in the health promotion/public health field. Desirable: relevant PhD degree & record of research experience & publications in peer reviewed journals.
