We are seeking candidates for the role of senior lecturer to contribute to the provision of our pre-registration nursing education programmes. You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the mental health field of nursing.

You will support the integration of mental health nursing into the new innovative pre-registration nursing curricula commencing in September 2019, ensuring that there is equal consideration of mental and physical health and illness within the curricula. You will have experience of working within a higher education institution.

The Institute of Health includes a wide range of professionally qualifying health care courses. We are growing to meet the needs of people who wish to work with a host of employers in healthcare and related areas. We include courses in nursing, nursing associates, midwifery, physiotherapy, paramedic science, podiatry and a wide range of continuing professional development opportunities. We are expanding on our newly developed skills centres to offer hands-on teaching of nursing and healthcare professions skills through a comprehensive range of state of the art equipment.
