Joining the School’s postgraduate team you will have up-to-date, sound knowledge of current developments in cardiac care nursing including current clinical, professional and policy developments. You will mainly contribute to the teaching and supervision on our MSc programme and take an active role in supporting students in both theory and practice.
You will have a current professional registration with the NMC as a nurse or midwife and a teaching qualification, or you are committed to obtaining a professional education qualification.
A fundamental part of the role is collaborating with staff in the School to develop research opportunities. We have a philosophy of engaging in partnership work and are committed to policy developments which you will be expected to engage with. You will have an MSc in a relevant subject. If you have a PhD or Doctorate and can supervise at this level, you will have opportunities to develop as the university has an active programme for supporting early career researchers. Travel to other university sites will also be required.
