In this role you will have up to date knowledge of contemporary advanced nursing practice and have held an autonomous Advanced Practitioner role undertaking physical assessments. Your experience will contribute to the teaching in our undergraduate, graduate and post graduate courses along with collaborating with staff in the school to develop research opportunities in practice. We have a philosophy of engaging in partnership work and are committed to policy developments which you will be expected to be involved with. You will have a Masters in a relevant subject, including evidence of successful completion of an Advanced Physical Assessment module/course, recordable qualifications as a Lecturer/Practice Educator and current registration with the NMC as a registered adult nurse. Experience of working with Objective Structure Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) assessment methods and a qualification as a Non-Medical Prescriber is desirable. If you have a PhD or Doctorate and can supervise at this level, you will have opportunities to develop as the university has an active programme for supporting early career researchers. Travel to other university sites will also be required.
