This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) or an established Academic with experience of Advanced Clinical Practice to join the School of Nursing and Midwifery, either in a full or part time capacity, supporting delivery of the highly successful MSc Advancing Practice (Advanced Clinical Practice). The successful candidate will join a multi-professional team of enthusiastic, committed and friendly staff and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the School and the wider University. To reflect National multi-professional developments in advanced clinical practice, we are encouraging applications from individuals with varied professional registration, for example nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and paramedics.

The post holder will be committed to promoting academic enquiry that develops critical thinking in students; supporting safe, effective and evidence-based decision making, whilst developing expertise that supports existing and more established roles in health and social care settings. The post holder will be required to support ACP students through their academic and clinical development of the four pillars of advanced practice: clinical expertise, education, leadership and management, and research.
