Joining the postgraduate team in the School of Health Sciences you will have up-to-date, sound knowledge of current developments in advanced practice including current clinical, professional and policy developments. You will mainly contribute to the teaching and supervision on our MSc Advanced Practice programme and take an active role in supporting students in both theory and practice. This interprofessional course is currently being mapped to the advanced clinical practice apprenticeship framework.

You will have current professional registration with, for example, HCPC, NMC or allied health profession and a university recognised teaching qualification or be committed to obtaining a professional education qualification.

A fundamental part of the role is collaborating with staff in the School to develop research opportunities. We have a philosophy of engaging in partnership work and are committed to policy developments which you will be expected to engage with. You will have an MSc in a relevant subject. If you have a PhD or Doctorate and can supervise at this level, you will have opportunities to develop as the university has an active programme for supporting early career researchers. Travel to other university sites will also be required.
