The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health has a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy,Operating Department Practice, Paramedic, Physiotherapy leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. Coventry University is placed 13th in the UK University league tables(Guardian 2018) and the School has achieved 93% overall for student satisfaction (NSS 2018).

We are currently seeking to recruit enthusiastic individuals to take up a full time or part time positions as Assistant Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing (fixed term and permanent). Applicants will need to possess a Registered Nurse qualification. We are particularly interested in individuals who have experience in public health, mental health or critical care and are looking for individuals that will be able to contribute to our UG and PG nursing courses.

Previous experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is desirable but not essential and your application should detail your area of clinical/teaching experience and expertise.

The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career. Salary is dependent on experience.
