In this role you will have up to date knowledge of contemporary acute care nursing practice and have held a senior practitioner role. Your experience will be used to contribute to the teaching in our post qualifying undergraduate, graduate certificate and post graduate courses in acute care practice. A fundamental part of the role is collaborating with staff in the school to develop research opportunities in practice. We have a philosophy of engaging in partnership work and are committed to policy developments which you will be expected to engage with. You will have a Masters in a relevant subject, including evidence of successful completion of an specialist module/course in acute care. You will have recordable qualifications as a Lecturer/Practice Educator and current registration with the NMC as a registered adult nurse. If you have a PhD or Doctorate and can supervise at this level, you will have opportunities to develop as the university has an active programme for supporting early career researchers.
