An opportunity has arisen for a HCPC registered Dietitian to join a committed team with a long-established history of excellence in the delivery of nutrition and dietetic education and research. We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic Practitioner/ academic with expertise in Dietetics to make a key contribution to our academic provision through teaching, research and enterprise.
You should have recent experience of relevant clinical, academic and professional experience/knowledge in an area of Dietetics including Registration with the HCPC.
A doctoral qualification in an area relevant to Dietetics is desirable or, instead, you will have a related Masters and first degree qualifications and significant professional experience. You will be committed to promoting the development of the next generation of Professionals through provision of high quality teaching. The successful candidate will also be expected to engage in with existing CPD and Consultancy activity within the School of Health and Wellbeing.
The School of Health and Wellbeing encompasses Nutrition and Dietetics, Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Health Promotion. As well as offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses in these areas, there is significant delivery of CPD courses, especially in Nutrition and Dietetics where there is also active research and consultancy. Many staff in the School are research active, and the School makes a major contribution to the Institute of Health and Wellbeing including research in childhood obesity and CF.
