Senior Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy CBT (1.00 wte)

We are seeking an exceptional person to join the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work & Social Sciences to deliver counselling and research programmes in the Directorate of Midwifery, Counselling and Psychotherapy.
You will provide teaching to students on pre qualifying, post qualifying and post graduate cognitive behavioural therapy counselling, and psychotherapy curricula. You will work collaboratively with researchers across the School, University and other health and social care partners in order to lead and enhance our reputation for high quality research and innovation.
Ideally educated to doctoral level, you will hold a portfolio of teaching and research activity and publications that hold resonance with contemporary cognitive behavioural therapy, counselling, psychotherapy and practice.
Our School’s research programme was ranked 10th in the Nursing and Midwifery Unit of Assessment in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.
